Problem with cleaning
« on: July 09, 2013, 04:46:27 pm »
I use a common white paneling nail with the paint scraped off the tip for my mechanical cleaning and i have had problems with the metal leaving metallic streaks on red patinas. How do you remove or prevent these marks?
I LOVE cleaning uncleaned ancients.

Ave!

Ditch the nail and use a common dental pick.
Best,
