Hello, I wanted to announce the completion of a new title.
The
Complete Coinage of
Domitian http://www.dirtyoldbooks.com/CC/index.htmlI finished tonight on a major section of what some day will be my third edition of the
Encyclopedia of Roman Imperial Coins (better known as
ERIC). I'm really proud of my latest
work which is taken on an obsessive pursuit of detail in sifting through thousands of records. I now have in this ebook a
catalog that is far more well-rounded than what I
had put together in
ERIC II. It is also a significant update to the second edition of
RIC with many
additions and corrections. Most importantly, for the 3rd edition of
ERIC I will be introducing line-level
rarity and pricing information. Both the
rarity and prices are taken from real market data and are, in my opinion, much more useful than "
rarity bands" and shoot-from-the-hip value guesstimates. I have also taken a much more detailed stab at providing
denomination weights. Finally, the plates have been given a workover to improve this
part as much as possible. I trust you will be happy with my effort and find the file useful. I'm asking for $10 for the download. If you're not sure you want to risk the ten bucks please see on the above link above the section on
Severus Alexander which is of similar format and is free to download.
After each section is finished I spin a wheel of fortune
type of roulette to see who I'm going to get next. I'll be working now on
Procopius. Should be a piece of cake compared to
Domitian!
