In the earlier post JAY GT4 said, "I'd love to see the cleaning process." Me too, Jay!
The plan here is to first remove all the outer encrustations, of course.
I'll begin with an MSR solution and then progress to an alkaline chelating solution (EDTA), if necessary, as noted by V-Drome.
Once the outside cleaning is
complete, I'll send it to my
genius colleague, David
Roeder, to see if it can be safely opened.
