Title: Greek with Lyre reverse
Post by: solon on November 23, 2022, 02:03:13 pm

AE 11mm.  1.60g.

Head of Herakles? right wearing lion skin / Lyre,  :Greek_Beta:? :Greek_Alpha: : :GreeK_Sigma: :Greek_Iota: :Greek_Lambda: :Greek_epsilon: .? to right.

Any idea where this coin might belong to?

Thank you.

There are types from the seleucid rulers Antiochos I and II with a cithara on the reverse:

The letters on your coin to the left of the cithara seem to fit to ANTIOXOY, perhaps it is one of these.
