Fake Damaskos Alexander Tetradrachm

Appallingly bad fake but it makes the autioner's cut. How I cannot help but wonder!

Description
Makedonien, Hellenistische Dynasten. Alexander III. der Große 336-323 v. Chr. -336--323.
Tetradrachme 330-323 v. Chr., Damaskus. 16,58 g. Kopf des Herakles mit Löwenhaube nach rechts / Zeus sitzt nach links mit Adler und Zepter, links Widder, unter dem Thron Beizeichen AP zusammengezogen. Price - vergl. 3202-14 var.

Indeed!  The style is far off from real Damascus Alexanders.

I think the target market for this fake must be a younger generation...  Zeus the Rapper!

It illustrates that the faker had little understanding of the iconography. He seems to have assumed that Zeus wore a helmet of some type (resembling a baseball cap).

It also appears that Zeus has suffered from an umbilical hernia and has lamb racks or pork chops spiked on his sceptre::) ;D
