Islamic Lead Tessera Kufic Inscription

(1/1)

v-drome:
Hi, all.  Here is a very unusual lead tessera from Caesarea Maritima with an Arabic (Kufic?) inscription.  I have been trying to decipher it using Richard Plant's book, but there are so many variations and I am not having any luck.  It is very difficult to get a good photograph, but I am still trying.  Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks, Jimi
