Licinius II Concordia ID requested

(1/1)

Diederik:
I bought this coin:
LICINIVS IVN.NOB.CAES. laureate, draped (and cuirassed?) bust right.
CONCORDIA AVGG.NN. Concordia standing left, holding long caduceus and cornucopiae.
Apparently nothing in exergue, except black ink mark: '12'
I could not find a parallel on-line. Who can help me?

Frans

Istinpolin:
I just looked through Sear-Roman Coins and their values 4th Ed.
Its not in there either.

Rupert:
It should have AQS in exergue; this type is known only for Aquileia, issued along with Soli Invicto Comiti, Iovi Conservatori and Principia Iuventutis coins in 317. If laureate, draped, cuirassed bust, it's RIC VII Aqu 12 (scarce), if laureate and cuirassed only, it's RIC 13, rated r5. Both from officina S (AQS) only.

Rupert

Diederik:
Thank you Rupert!
From time to time I 'discover' new types, like the Victoria-in-a-galley which I saw coming by last week. Do you know of a summary for all the constantinian types?
