The Chertsey tiles

The medieval Chertsey Tiles have been partly restored and reconstructed. These are figural ceramic tiles were made around 1250 AD. They were unearthed at Chertsey Abbey in England in a fragmentary state some time ago, with reconstruction starting in the 1970's.
