Hi Eric:

I believe the reverse is Pan standing right. Often the head direction on tiny reverse types can be hard to make out, but it looks right to me.

Not in RPC3, which is strange because I sent in a picture to RPC3 of a right facing Pan (a new variety of the more common left facing type)! There are 2 Pan left facing types, but only one type is pictured in RPC3.

Eric:

The type usually has a second leg angled behind, but usually the leg looks like just a bold line, so the type is an advancing/walking type. I can not see if yours has the second leg. Since the detail on your coin is not clear, perhaps Pan? is a better description. I will see if I can locate the image that I have.

Your obverse side also has an "I" which is found on the very smallest issue.

Could be due to the limited picture quality of my mobile device, but I don't see an "I" on the obverse. I see (I think) laurel wreath ties to the left of head and areas of uneven desert patina to the right of head. Where is the "I"?

Carausius:

I thought there was an I to the right, but now that I downloaded and zoomed in, it looks just like a cleaned area. No "I" so just likely a hemi-obol.
