Mickey Mouse on a Mamluk Fals?

Every time I look at this Mamluk fals, I see Mickey Mouse on the reverse. Is my imagination overly active or do you also see the mouse? Stkp

Amazing timing, Steve. Just the other day I spotted the karshapana below. I knew something about it looked familiar but I couldn't quite pin it down. Until your post, that is. Remarkable coincidence.  ;D

Very uncanny, this might be a good opportunity for other members to post their coins with recognizable objects or patterns on them.

Great find Steve and Bob,

the "Mickey" are visible, but Bob's examples look "artificial" :) ;D

For all Mickey Mouse fans....I strongly suggest you watch the documentary on Netflix “Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable”. I can assure that you won’ t regret it, but do not stop until the last scene of the movie...

It's good to know that I'm not the only one seeing mice that aren't there. I actually was unable to attribute the coin on my own because I was so sure to look for a coin with SOME kind of animal image that I overlooked completely the image on the plate in Balog. Will the mice now "come out of the woodwork" and start appearing on Greek and Roman coins?

Bob, that is a very interesting punch-mark.
