The Coins of Ancient Meiron by Joyce Raynor and Yaakov Meshorer, The American School of Oriental Research, 1988, 140 pages including 20 pages of plates. Meiron was a Palestinian village, located 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) west of Safad. Associated with the ancient Canaanite city of Merom, excavations at the site have found extensive remains from the Hellenistic and Early Roman periods.

This volume contains 1017 coin specimens found during the excavation at Meiron, presented chronologically by period and reign. Also included are a Meiron coin profile organized by mint, a catalogue of selected Meiron coins, and an index of coins by area and locus. Published at $25.00.

The catalogue of coins presented in this small volume is meant to supplement the final publication report on ancient Meiron, MEP volume III. In particular, it is intended to be used along with the appendices in that volume which itemize the main small finds and coins".
