AMBIANI, now Amiens, in France. - AMB. Ducange and Bimard de la Bastie both conjecture that the coin of Magnetius, on the exergue of which they read the above letters, was struck at Amiens (Ambianis). Whilst Vaillant (Praest. Num. i. 360), interprets it A. M. B. Antiochia moneta officinae secundae (money of the second mint of Antioch.) - See Rasche.
