REVERSE	VIRTV-SAVGG [VIRTVS AVGG]; camp gate with four turrets, open doors; varying number of stone layers. P in left field, R in right field. RT in exergue.
NOT IN RIC	UNLISTED BUST TYPE - D6. RIC lists for this type only bust type D7 (ROME 190, p. 316). Note that Bruun's typology of helmets on vota coinage [ROME 143-193] differs slightly from the standard one (see Appendix on p. 348). For example, "the bowl-shaped helmet with a long crest extended to the back of the helmet has been marked D6". D7 is reserved only for a bowl-shaped helmet with "high but short feathery crest" and "narrow stripe along the lower edge decorated with dots, probably indicating that the laureate wreath has been replaced by a diadem of pearls and/or jewels". Here we have undoubtedly "the bowl-shaped helmet with a long crest extended to the back of the helmet", so according to Bruun's distinctions this bust type should be marked D6 and listed before ROME 190.
