UNLISTED BUST TYPE - D6. RIC lists for this type only bust type D7 (ROME 190, p. 316). Note that Bruun's typology of helmets on vota coinage [ROME 143-193] differs slightly from the standard one (see Appendix on p. 348). For example, "the bowl-shaped helmet with a long crest extended to the back of the helmet has been marked D6". D7 is reserved only for a bowl-shaped helmet with "high but short feathery crest" and "narrow stripe along the lower edge decorated with dots, probably indicating that the laureate wreath has been replaced by a diadem of pearls and/or jewels".

Here we have undoubtedly "the bowl-shaped helmet with a long crest extended to the back of the helmet", so according to Bruun's distinctions this bust type should be marked D6. On the other hand, footnote to ROME 190 shows that listed coin (unique specimen from officina Q) was quite similar: "The coin is of the rev. type without doors. Helmet with long crest, the usually diademed stripe empty", but was marked D7. It is not clear whether a "narrow stripe", even without dots, was more important for Bruun than the length of a crest. In Lars Ramskold's opinion "the bust is not D6 but D7 because the helmet is not laureate. It is therefore RIC 190, off Q, listed as r5".

However, if bust is regarded as D6, this type should be listed before ROME 190.
