UNLISTED OBVERSE LEGEND. RIC lists for Licinius' coins from this issue only legend: VAL LICINIVS [one "N"!] P F AVG (p. 514). This very rare variant of obverse legend is to be found only on coins minted at Thessalonica. However, the variant VAL LICINNIVS P F AVG [with two "N"] was not known at all! Coin should be listed after THESSALONICA 30b.

NOTES

Coin sold on eBay in September 2004 for $15.57.
