RIC VI, ROMA [after 8b], MAXIMIAN HERCULIUS, UNLISTED ISSUE [VIRTVS AVGG]

OBVERSE

MAXIMIA-NVSPFAVG [MAXIMIANVS P F AVG]; bust r., laur., cuir., seen from rear.

REVERSE

VIR-TVS-AVG-G [VIRTVS AVGG]; Hercules stg. r., clubbing centaur. PR in exergue.

NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED ISSUE. Many types with m.m. PR are omitted in RIC V/2 and RIC VI. There is a very slight possibility that some of them were minted after Reform. Also, others were added here for comparison.

Note that so far two different rev. legend breaks are attested: VIR-TVS-AVG-G and VIR-TVSAVG-G, which could make in RIC two separate entries (cf. TREVERI 802 and 807 or SISCIA 61 and SISCIA 62) (cf. TRIER 18-21 or CONSTANTINOPLE 93-94).

Listed in Depeyrot (p. 82, no. 5B/8). Coin could be listed in RIC after ROMA 8b.
