UNLISTED REVERSE TYPE. RIC lists with this m.m. and rev. legend only type with Victory advancing l. [ROMA 223]. But cf. additional remarks on p. 380: "The fraction described by Maurice, i, p. 199, type xii (VICTORIA AVG N- VOT QQ MVL XX, as being of the RBP series needs confirmation, but receives support from the Vienna piece with IMP C MAXENTIVS P F AVG, r. laur., VICTORIA A - - -, Victory stg. r., inscribing VOT/QQ/MVL/X? in four lines on shield on palm-trunk, 3.3. g." Note that the coin in Vienna mentioned by Sutherland is a half-follis and the present coin is a follis. Listed in Drost (p. 313, no. 113). Should be listed before ROMA 223.
