MAXIMIANVSNOBCAES [MAXIMIANVS NOB CAES]; bust l., laur., cuir., r. holding forward-pointing spear, shield on l. arm.

REVERSE

GENIOPOP-VLIROMANI [GENIO POPVLI ROMANI]; Genius stg. l., modius on head, naked but for chlamys over l. shoulder, r. holding patera, l. cornucopiae. Altar in left field, B in right field. PLC in exergue.

UNLISTED BUST TYPE. Not attested for obv. legend 4a (p. 251-252). Similar to bust type FF but see CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 249. Listed in Bastien Lyon (294-316) (p. 188, no. 229). Should be listed in RIC after LUGDUNUM 149b.
