UNLISTED BUST TYPE. RIC lists for this obv. legend similar bust type, but with emperor cuirassed only [bust type J, p. 138]. Listed in Huvelin (no. 201). Note that Huvelin quotes exactly the same specimen from British Museum, which is quoted in RIC as LONDINIUM 287, so actually this is the case of inconsistency in descriptions (details of cuirass and/or paludamentum are indistinct). Huvelin quotes yet another specimen (no. 202; reference: "M & M 1982 [Monnaies et Médailles, vente 61, 7 et 8 octobre 1982], no. 594"), which description is identical with description of LONIDNIUM 287, but unfortunately there is no picture of it in Huvelin's article.

Note also that the description of reverse in RIC mixes two issues: earlier with Sol stg. r with chlamys over l. shoulder and hanging behind and later with Sol stg. l. with chlamys draped over l. shoulder only. See: CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 140. Also not listed in Huvelin. Coin should be listed after LONDINIUM 286.
