REVERSE

MARTICON-SERVATORI [MARTI CONSERVATORI]; Mars stg. r., r. leaning on reversed spear, l. supporting shield. Star in left field. PLN in exergue.

UNLISTED BUST TYPE. Attested only for the previous issue as type R (p. 134). Listed in Huvelin (no. 173; but described as cuirassed). Listed in Saint-Colombier-en-Sarzeau Hoard (p. 85, no. 3647; bust described as "consulaire"). Listed in Cloke-Toone (7.10.016; mantle). See also CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 134. Coin should be listed in RIC after LONDINIUM 261.
