NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists this type only for Maximinus (p. 592). Constantine is not listed for any Cyzicus issue of Sole Invicto. General note about this issue from p. 576: "An extended range of types is introduced, most of them scarce or rare. [...] Sole Invicto, with all the implications of the ablative absolute, is struck for Maximinus only. [...] Date, c. 311-12". We may recognize that it is not true. Probably coins with Sole Invicto from this issue were struck also for Licinius and Constantine. Coin should be listed after CYZICUS 92. See also: CYZICUS 92, LICINIUS, UNLISTED FOR RULER and CYZICUS 92, CONSTANTINE, UNLISTED FOR RULER, OFFICINA A.
