NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED OFFICINA - B. For ANTIOCHIA 120 only officina Z is attested and RIC cites unique specimen which is now in the Münzkabinett of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (p. 633). Unfortunately, with some errors in description.

Note that the bust type is obviously not F (helmeted and cuirassed), but it is also not a simple misprint in RIC (F instead of E), because on p. 607 Sutherland explicitly confirms this description: "Maximinus [...] position is emphasized by the conspicuous (if rare) coins with obv. showing him helmeted and armoured and with. rev. Maximinus Nobilissimus Caesar, showing him as Princeps Iuventutis".

However, note that a variety with this type of rev. and bust helmeted and cuirassed also exists.

Note also that the bust on the Berlin specimen does not exactly match the description of bust type E (described on p. 630 as mantled) and should be described as draped and cuirassed.

Finally, RIC describes shield as "decorated with two riders and four prisoners" (p. 630). But there could be also seven figures and riders are sometimes holding draco standards.
