REVERSE

REVERSE VARIETY. ANTIOCHIA 169b has star in left field (see: CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 644) and Mars dragging captive. Here we have unexpectedly star in exergue [similar to ANTIOCHIA 170a-c] and Mars is holding spear. It could be a particular variant for officina Є/Δ. When both fields are occupied by officina letters there is no room for star and captive. It could be also unlisted officina of ANTIOCHIA 163b, which has similar rev. (legend break E-X, no captive, Mars holding spear; see CORRIGENDA, VOL. VI, p. 642) except for star in exergue. Further investigatons needed.
