UNLISTED BUST TYPE. RIC lists for Maximinus' coins from this issue only bust with divergent ties, pointed truncation (type α; ALEXANDRIA 99a) and bust with parallel ties, pointed truncation (type β ALEXANDRIA 100a). Type with parallel ties and rounded truncation (type γ) is not attested. Note that it is sometimes hard to distinguish pointed truncation from rounded truncation because these details are very small and often worn. Coin should be listed after ALEXANDRIA 100a.
