UNLISTED OFFICINA POSITION. RIC lists this type only for officina positions in the left and right fields (p. 31). Bastien IX number 439 where 2 examples were noted from the same reverse dies. This coin is unusual in that it is the only coin in the 9th issue (Bastien) that places the officina mark in the exergue. It leads to speculation about the start of a new emission at the end of the reign of Probus that was never entered into volume.
