Reverse: Helmeted horseman on rearing horse left, holding sword and severed Gallic head in left hand. Q below horse's forelegs.

Note 1: This coin commemorates the exploits of the issuer's father in the second Punic war. He had an artificial right hand.

Note 2: (A note from RCV:) The issuer strikes as quaestor and by special decree of the Senate (ex senarus consulto). Quaestors were the immediate superiors of the moneyers and under unusual circumstances occasionally utilised their authority to produce coins.
