Mint and Date: Uncertain mint, 185-168 CE
Size and Weight: 24mm x 25mm, 11.88g
Obverse: Head of Poseidon right, wearing tainia; trident over shoulder.
Reverse: MAKE-ΔONΩN
Club right with legend above and below. Two monograms below. All within an oak wreath.

Note: The bend in the nose is caused, or possibly just emphasised, by a ding in the fabric of the coin. There are many examples of the senior deities Poseidon and Zeus with bends in the nose. It seems to have been meant as an indication of maturity.
