Confronted draped busts of Gordian, laureate, right; and Tranquillina, diademed, left.
Reverse: VΠ TEPTVΛΛIANOY MAPKIANOΠOLEITΩN
Nemesis standing left, short rod held out at waist level in right hand in front, bridle held low in left hand behind, wheel in front at feet. LEITΩN (end of the reverse legend) in right field.

Note 1: The obverse legends for Gordian III and Tranquillina given in Varbanov I (English) show an I before the double Lambda in TPANKIΛΛINA , but examination of the illustrations — and this coin — suggests that this is an error, and the correct character is V, as in TPANKVΛΛINA.
