A potin tetradrachm coin of the emperor Diocletian with a Tyche reverse Coin Type: Potin tetradrachm of Diocletian, 284-305 CE
Mint and Date: Alexandria, 286-287 CE.
Size and Weight: 18mm x 20mm, 8.3g
Laureate and cuirassed bust right.
Reverse: Tyche standing left, crowned with kalathos, wearing long chiton and peplos, resting right hand on rudder, holding cornucopia in left arm.
Field Marks: L Γ in right field (regnal year 3).
