Coin Type: A holed silver drachm of Ariarathes V of Cappadocia, 163-130 BCE. Mint and Date: ?, 162 BCE. Size and Weight: 17mm, 3.92g Obverse: Diademed head right. Reverse: BAΣIΛEΩΣ APIAPAΘOYΣ EYΣEBOYΣ Athena standing left, wearing crested helmet, holding out a statuette of Nike on her right hand, tall spear in left hand, which also rests on her Aegis shield with gorgoneion. Field Marks: K in right field. O over Δ monogram in left field. Exergue: B (almost obscured) (the regnal year) Provenance: 2009dlcripps (eBay), December 2010.
