The study of the reign of
Carausius has generated a number of books and articles. The ones residing on my
bookshelves currently include the following titles. If I were to recommend any I
would have to say that Casey (1994), Shiel (1977) and Williams (2004) are
perhaps the most comprehensive modern treatments of his reign.
