The number following the prefix is the find number in the appropriate report.

  • D181: Winchester, Hampshire. Closing date after 37 A.D., 5 silver denarii. 37 AD is the "terminal date", i.e. the date of the last coin, but the actual date of deposit is in the early years of the Roman occupation: 44-64 A.D.

  • C238: Woodbridge, Suffolk. Closing date after 47 A.D., 37 silver denarii plus 1 pre-Roman gold coin.

  • B280: Mersea Island, Essex, Closing date c. 50 A.D., 5 early denarii.

  • B281: Great Packington, West Midlands, Closing date c. 50 A.D., 10 early denarii.

  • A118: Hoveringham, Nottinghamshire, Closing date c. 71 A.D., 4 denarii.

  • D183: Ipswich, Suffolk. Closing date c. 75 A.D., 3 silver denarii, one a plated denarius.

  • B283: Shillington A, Bedfordshire, Closing date c. 79 A.D., 127 gold aurei. May be part of B284 or may be a separate hoard.

  • A119: Howe, Norfolk, -is included in C240.

  • C240: Howe, Norfolk, Closing date c. 87 A.D., Total now 15 gold coins and 129 silver Denarii, found in parcels over several years.

  • D184: Tamworth, Staffordshire. Closing date c. 90 A.D., 92 silver denarii and 2 gold aurei.

  • A120: Middlewich, Cheshire, Closing date c. 125 A.D., 30 denarii.

  • B284: Shillington B, Bedfordshire, Closing date c. 128 A.D., 18 silver denarii. May be part of B283 or may be a separate hoard.

  • B285: Lathom, Lancashire, Closing date c. 138 A.D., 13 silver denarii, 1 bronze.

  • C241: Wendlebury, Oxfordshire. Closing date c. 138 A.D., 89 copper-alloy coins.

  • C242: Climping, West Sussex. Closing date c. 140 A.D., 88 silver denarii.. Found during a metal detector rally and total is likely to be much larger than declared.

  • C243: Monknash, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. Closing date c. 145 A.D., 103 silver denarii. Coins contained in pot.

  • C14: Little Grimsby, Lincolnshire. Closing date after 148 A.D., 11 silver denarii and 2 medieval coins. Also non-coin Roman material.

  • D185: Manston, Dorset. Closing date c. 152 A.D., 7 silver denarii.

  • C244: Wanborough, Wiltshire. Closing date c. 156 A.D., 161 silver denarii.

  • B286: Frensham, Surrey, -is included in D187.

  • D187: Frensham, Surrey. Closing date 1st to 2nd century AD (before 160 AD). Totals now 8 silver Denarii, 456 base metal coins and 5 pre-Roman British coins. These finds "comprise a series of (ritual?) deposits".

  • C26: Itteringham, Norfolk. Closing date 2nd century A.D., 62 silver denarii, 42 copper-alloy coins. Found with cosmetic objects and jewellery. Sherds of pots found.

  • C245: Foxley, Norfolk. Closing date c. 161 A.D., 3 silver denarii.

  • B287: Osgodby, Lincolnshire, Closing date c. 163 A.D., 44 silver denarii, artefacts and container.

  • C246: St Ishmael, Carmarthenshire, Wales. Closing date c. 164 A.D., 35 base metal sestertii, dupondii and asses. Found on a beach.

  • A122: Long Whatton, Leicestershire, Closing date c. 170 A.D., 84 denarii, 1 bronze.

  • C247: Egmanton, Nottinghamshire, -is included in D186

  • D186: Egmanton, Nottinghamshire. Closing date c. 160/170 A.D., Total 23 denarii.

  • C248: Tiddington, Warwickshire. Closing date c. 170 A.D., 3 silver denarii.

  • C249: Plantation Place, City of London. Closing date c. 174 A.D., 43 gold Aurei. Coins originally in bag or purse.

  • B288: Sandfields, Staffordshire, Closing date c. 175 A.D., 15 silver denarii.

  • A123: Hamstead Marshall, Berkshire, Closing date c. 180 A.D., 84 denarii, 13 bronzes of 1st-2nd century + 35 Bronzes of 3rd-4th century and copper artefacts. The 35 late bronzes "must be stray losses".

  • C250: Wilburton, Cambridgeshire. Closing date Late 2nd Century A.D., 18 copper-alloy Dupondii and asses, scattered (due to ploughing?)
