The Villa PublicaThe Villa Publica was situated in the Campus Martius and no trace of the structure is visible today. Originally dating from the 5th Century BC the building served a variety of purposes, including the reception of foreign ambassadors. One of its restorations was by T. Didius (consul 98 BC), hence the accompanying legend. |
