WWI_Italy_VI_Army_Artillery_Medal.JPG
WWI, Italy, VI Army Artillery MedalObv: ACLI EPOI / IL BACIO DEL / LA VITTORIA inscribed in stone, young hero walking right, being kissed by Victory floating beside him.

Rev: Field guns in action: VIĀ° CORPO D'ARMATA ARTIGLIERIA - PODGORA, SABATINO, GORIZIA, MONTE SANTO, S. GABRIELE, M. GRAPPA, M. PERTICA.

17.4 grams 32.2 mm

Note: Some of the battles that the 6th Artillery was involved in are listed on the reverse. This medal came with a white ribbon with a light blue stripe down the center. Judging by the heavy wear on the reverse, this medal was probably worn as a pendant for many years.
