Agrippina the Younger, Julia Agrippina, or Agrippinilla (Little Agrippina) after 50 AD known as Julia Augusta Agrippina (c16 AD –59) was sister of Caligula, niece and fourth wife of Claudius and the mother of Nero. In 28, Tiberius arranged for Agrippina to marry her paternal second cousin Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus. Their only son was named Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus, after Domitius’s recently deceased father. This child would become the Emperor Nero. In 39, Agrippina and her sister Livilla, with their maternal cousin, Drusilla’s widower, Marcus Aemilius Lepidus, were involved in a failed plot to murder Caligula, and make Lepidus emperor. Lepidus was executed. Agrippina and Livilla were exiled by their brother to the Pontine Islands.
Suetonius says, "But it was Agrippina the Younger, his brother Germanicus’s daughter, who ensnared him, assisted by a niece’s privilege of exchanging kisses and endearments. At the next Senate meeting, he primed a group of Senators to propose that he ought to marry Agrippina, as it was in the public interest, and that such marriages between uncle and niece should from then on be regarded as lawful, and no longer incestuous. He married her (AD 49) with barely a day’s delay, but only one freedman and one leading centurion married their respective nieces, to follow suit. Claudius himself, with Agrippina, attended the centurion’s wedding."
The Euthenia reverse reminds one of "euthanasia." which is what some suspect she did to Claudius to elevate her son Nero to the purple.Blindado

From Forum Ancient Coins, thanks!
The portrait of Hadrian is unusual and reminds of Caligula(!). This often appears on Alexandrian coins where the typical Roman Imperial portraits are found some times later in the reign of the emperor.
Euthenia was the goddess or spirit (daimon) of prosperity, abundance and plenty. She appears to have been one of a group of four younger Graces, the others being her sisters Eukleia (Good Repute), Eupheme (Acclaim) and Philophrosyne (Welcome) (from www.theoi.com)

Egypt, Alexandria. Hadrian AE Drachm (Year 6), Euthenia. Ex Dattari (1901) Plate II, No. 1703Egypt, Alexandria. Hadrian Æ Drachm (35mm, 22.07g, 12h), struck 121/2 CE (Dated Year 6).
Obv: Laureate head of Hadrian, r., drapery on l. shoulder.
Rev: Euthenia reclining on sphinx, l., holding ears of corn. Exergue: L Ϛ.
Published: Dattari (1901, v.2) Pl. II, 1703 (this obverse illustrated) [LINK]; Dattari-Savio (1999/2007) Pl. 81, 1703 (this coin illustrated); Figari-Mosconi 312 (this coin illustrated); Vogt II (1924), Alexandrinischen: p. 45 (this coin cited); RPC III 5352.9 (this coin, illustrated online) [LINK].
Provenance: Giovanni Dattari (1858-1923) Collection; Anonymous German collection, formed late 1960s-1970s [acquired: Peus 283 (14 May 1974), 213 (corr.); sold: Kunker 389 (23 Jun 2023), 2026], with the collector's ticket & clippings from Peus 283.
Notes: While RPC catalogs this coin identically will several other examples of a roughly similar obverse bust type, this particular obverse die seems quite distinctive to me. (Dattari must have thought so also, as he chose this portrait for one of his four exemplars of Hadrian in the plates of his 1901 catalog.)
The half-length nude bust of Hadrian (drapery on shoulder) illustrates much more of his chest and shoulders than the others, which are all truncated at the collarbone. In fact, when looking through all of Hadrian's Alexandrian coinage, I've been unable to find another bust quite like it. (This style was, however, common for Trajan and Antinoos.) If other types/examples like it are out there, I'd like to know!Curtis JJ

RPC 2463 TitusAR Tetradrachm, 12.61g
Alexandria mint, 79-80 AD
Obv: AYTOK TITOY KAIΣ OYEΣΠAΣIANOY ΣEB; Head of Titus, laureate, r.
Rev: OMO-NOIA; Homonoia seated, l., with olive branch; date LB to l.
RPC 2463 (12 spec.).
Acquired from Praefectus Coins, January 2018.
The first issue of Alexandrian tetradrachms for Titus were struck in regnal year 2, 29 August 79 - 28 August 80. They are not as plentiful as the regnal year 3 tetradrachms, perhaps indicating their production began in mid 80 and continued into the following regnal year. Three reverse types were initially coined for Titus - Euthenia, Homonoia, and Sarapis, none of which are carry-overs from Vespasian's tetradrachm issues. Butcher and Ponting have found Titus' tetradrachms were struck with near 19.5% silver fineness from recycled metals, consistent with the earlier issues minted for Vespasian.
Superb portrait of Titus, one of the best I've seen from this mint.David Atherton

RPC 2464 (13 spec.).
Ex JW Harper Collection.
No coinage for Titus at Alexandria was struck during his first regnal year (24 June to 28 August 79), so the earliest coins from that mint are dated to his second regnal year (29 August 79 to 28 August 80). There had been a four year gap since the last issue of tetradrachms were struck under Vespasian.
Engraved in good Alexandrian style. Both busts are superb.
