Does not look quite so rare, but it is. Apparently, the seated Pax was used only for a brief amount of time and then swiftly replaced with a standing Pax (RIC 17, MIR 24a with 115 specimen). Woytek chose the BMC coin as his plate coin. The reverse is from the same dies as my two examples, not sure about the obverse dies. Mouchmov reports 3 coins from Reka Devnia. Too bad they do not show pictures; given the rarity of this coin, it is quite possible that one (or both) of my coins are from that source.

RIC -, Woytek 583[H]t (2 specimen), the pictured coin appears to be from the same dies.

PARTHICO is part of both the obverse and the reverse legend. According to Woytek (p. 156), this type is known from at least two different die pairs, apparently an oversight during the transitioning period from group 17 to group 18/19.

RIC knows this type with the legend PAX in ex. (RIC 102, 103) and without it (RIC 125). According to Woytek, the type RIC 125 does not exist. I believed I had found this one, but apparently the legend below just got lost over the centuries.
