Obverse - ANT•AVG / III VIR•R•P•C, galley right with rowers, mast with banners at prow, border of dots;
Reverse - LEG - V, legionary eagle between two standards, border of dots;
This may have been the famous V Alaudae ('the larks'), a Caesarean legion which remained loyal to Antony but was later retained by Augustus. There are other possibilities, however: V Macedonica, a Caesarean legion about which little is known; V Urbana, disbanded after Actium (and therefore quite likely an Antonian legion); and V Gallica, a Caesarean legion that was probably the one that under Lollius lost its eagle to German raiders in Gaul in 17 BC.b70

Mark Antony Legio VI Ferrata Silver DenariusLEGIO VI FERRATA (The Sixth Legion "Ironclad")
This legion was recruited in 52 BCE by Julius Caesar in Gallia Cisalpina, and saw its first action during the campaign against the Gallic leader Vercingetorix, who was besieged at Alesia.
AR silver Legionary Denarius. 32-31 BC. 18mm, 3.6g.
Obverse - ANT AVG III VIR R P C, Praetorian galley.
Reverse - LEG VI, eagle between standards.
An extremely odd and interesting specimen, apparently either overstruck due to an error, struck on clashed dies, or partially double-struck. The III VIR RPC part is laid overtop of the left hand side of the ship itself, rather than below the galley as usual. The lettering is the overtype, or the doublt-struck part, since it cuts into the galley underneath.b70

Marcus Julius Verus Philippus, known as Philip I "The Arab," was the Praetorian Prefect, and successor to Gordian III whom he possibly had murdered. After signing a treaty with the Persians, he returned home. During his reign the 1000th anniversary of the foundation of Rome (248 A.D.) was celebrated, and magnificent games were held on a scale rarely seen. In 249 A.D. a series of rebellions occurred, both Philip and his son were killed after their army was defeated near Verona by the forces of Trajan Decius.b70
