Comment: Issued under the Provincial Governor, Statius Longinus. The interesting combination of godesses was suggested by Pat Lawrence. Based on that I interpret the message to mean that unethical/unlawful conduct in the marketplace will be judged and condemned in the afterlife.
All too typical of the time, Diadumenian and his father, Macrinus, were assassinated at Antioch by the order of Elagabalus in June of 218. The boy was not quite ten years old.
Attribution thanks go to Steve Minnoch and Pat Lawrence.

Reverse: SVB VMBRA ALARVM TVA. Haloed eagle of the evangelist John behind the crowned united coats of arms of Castile-Leon / Aragon-Sicily.
Ferdinand of Aragon and Isabella of Castille united Spain and captured the beautiful Moorish city of Granada, thus completing the Reconquista of Spain. After the fall of the last Muslim kingdom, they turned their attention to exploration which led to the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus in 1492.
The gold Castellano weighing 4,6g was introduced in Castile by Enrique IV in 1475, the coin was highly valued and therefore called "excelente". In 1483 however, Barcelona and Valencia introduced the gold ducat of 3,5g. In 1497, in order to unify gold coin standards within Spain, a coinage act was passed and the Excelente of 3,5 g and 23,75 carat replaced the Castellano in Castile.

BYZANTINE, Constantine IV, AV Solidus.Constantine IV, Pogonatus, 15 July 668 - 10 July 685 A.D.
Cf. Sear 1153.
Constantine IV ruled jointly with his father, Constans II, from A.D.654 to A.D.668, and then with his brothers, Heraclius and Tiberius, from A.D.659 until A.D. 681.
Constantine IV, Pogonatus should be credited with saving Europe from Muslim conquest when, after besieging Constantinople for four years, the Arabs led by caliph Muawija I were forced to retreat. The use by the Byzantines of the famous "Greek Fire" having made the city impregnable. In A.D.681 Constantine IV deposed his two brothers. Constantine IV was succeeded by his 16 year old son Justinian II in A.D.685.

ROMAN EMPIRE, Eudocia, 423-425 Constantinople (mm off flan)Obv: ...EVDO...
Rev: Empress Enthroned, CONCORDIA AVG
RIC X 428
(Eudocia was the empress of Theodosius II and is not to be confused with Arcadius' empress Eudoxia. Eudoxia had a similar coin, but it was larger [AE3], with a different reverse legend [GLORIA ROMANORVM], and never a star in reverse left field [sometimes a cross]).

ROMAN EMPIRE, Johannes AE4 A.D.423-425 Rome (TRM)Obv: ...NN-ESPFA...
Rev: Victory Dragging Captive, SALVS REIPVBLICE
RIC X 1920
Johannes lost a power struggle with Theodosius II, who wanted Valentinian III installed as Western emperor. It is said that he was a mild-mannered guy, and that he was captured, mutilated, and exhibited in a zoo before being executed. Whenever I see this coin, I feel sorry for him.

ROMAN EMPIRE, Libius Severus AE4 461-465 RomeObv: Indistinct Legend
Rev: Monogram
(There is supposed to be a small "c" in the top center of monogram, but there isn't one on this coin [the monogram is actually that of the barbarian Master of Soldiers, Ricimer, the power behind the throne]. I think the absence of the "c" could be attributable to a filled die.)

(I photographed the obverse at an angle to try to best capture the portrait...it is very artistically executed, especially for this issue)
