Nabataean, Aretas IV
Nabataean Kington: Aretas IV. AR Drachm. Obverse: Aramaic "Aretas, king of Nabataea, lover of his people," laureate and draped bust of Aretas right. Reverse: Aramaic "Shuqailat, queen of Nabataea," date off flan, jugate busts of Aretas and Shuqailat right.

Ex Forvm. This is a well worn coin, but I like it for a couple of reasons. First, it was an affordable silver coin from Nabataea. Second, the flan is uniformly thick. Much thicker than the denarii I've put together.
