Anonymous 12th Century Class III. Huszár 145; Toth-Kiss 20.5.1.1 sigla a1.3/4; Unger 68; Réthy I 125; Frynas H.12.14; Lengyel 12/14; Adamovszky A119.
Anonymous 12th Century Class III; attributed to Géza II (1141-1162) by Lengyel and tentatively attributed to him by Unger, Frynas and Adamovsky, but this attribution is not accepted by Huszár and Toth-Kiss.

AR denar (average: .23 g., 11.5-12.0 mm.), .22 g., 11.58  mm. max.

Obv: Cross in pattern of crescents, wedges and lines.

Rev: Kufic ornaments comprised of two crosses connected at a central pellet, line between the crosses with curving edges ending in pellets, crossed by two lines also ending in pellets; linear border.

Struck in Esztergom.

Huszár rarity 7, Toth-Kiss rarity 40, Unger rarity 25, Frynas rarity N.
