Vespasian RIC II 1422C
Vespasian. 69-79 A.D. Ephesus Mint. 71 A.D. (2.59g, 6h). Obv: IMP CAESAR VESPAS AVG COS III TR P P P, laureate head right. Rev: CONCORDIA AVG, Ceres std. l. on ornate high-backed chair, with corn ears, poppy, and cornucopiae, in exergue, BY in monogram. RIC 1422C.

This type was unknown when updated RIC was published, but a few have surfaced since. There are two more in private collections here at the forum, and at least two others as well. In the upcoming addendum to the RIC, this type is tentatively assigned 1422C.
