Comments seem superfluous. Congrats to the lucky owner.

Never seen this type! A jaw dropper!
the_Apostate  [Oct 23, 2004 at 01:36 PM]
Reminds you a bit of commie triple portraits of Marx, Engels and Lenin.
mauseus  [Oct 23, 2004 at 05:18 PM]
Oooooooh. If only; that would sit so well in my Carausius trays. My triple portrait is not a patch on this
divvsavgvstvs  [Oct 26, 2004 at 07:13 AM]

I'll subtract one point for the small flatness on Pax' head and give 999/1000.
Ondrej Dohnal  [Dec 07, 2005 at 03:46 PM]
holy (...), can anyone tell me how much dollars I need to have such coin???
Pscipio  [Dec 09, 2005 at 06:13 AM]
In this particular case, 25'000 $ plus fees. But the coin is worth every cent of it!
*Alex  [Feb 18, 2006 at 01:32 PM]
This is my all time favourite coin.
Noah  [Apr 09, 2006 at 11:13 PM]
@?$#&! This was 25K??!! Man I know it is stunning, but I would use that amount to buy a bunch of coins of high quality instead of just one!!! Even so, this is quite amazing...

Aamil Qureshi  [Mar 28, 2007 at 05:46 PM]
Don't get me wrong, but I haven't seen anything this great since that triple portrait of Charles I of England!
ROMA  [Jul 15, 2007 at 06:55 AM]
Noah, did you stop and think that someone that can pay 25K on a single coin probably already has a bunch of high quality coins already? Of course any collector of small means would use 25K to spread the love, but not all collectors are of "small means" congrats to the owner of this masterpiece of numismatics.
pippo72  [Aug 07, 2007 at 07:43 AM]
A great historical value!!! love this coin
mestreaudi  [Aug 25, 2007 at 12:29 PM]

This coins, is really a beautiful piece
Noah  [Nov 17, 2007 at 12:15 AM]
I understand your point ROMA. I was speaking from my perspective of course. This is a magnificent coin indeed. I never said it was silly for someone with means to purchase it; just that I would have to be nuts to do it myself...
ROMA  [Jan 27, 2008 at 03:59 AM]
Agreed, although i suppose i could forget finishing college and just buy a coin like this instead. And who rated this coin less than a 5!! Show me a better one will ya!?
mauseus  [Jan 27, 2008 at 05:18 PM]
Well, the A of PAX and the field mark S are both a little weak....... only joking, who ever posted less than five is just green - this is a marvellous coin.
GaiusGCaligula  [Mar 25, 2008 at 04:08 PM]

That obverse is stunning!
Nathan H  [Jul 16, 2011 at 12:30 PM]
AMAZING!!! How can you give this less than 5-stars????
Vincent  [Aug 31, 2011 at 08:28 PM]
A happy Lot of Lugs, All Together NOW!
Noah  [Nov 22, 2011 at 04:04 PM]
The only explanation for a vote less than 5 is that those voting less do not know ancient Romans well and deducted for minor imperfections that actually give this beauty character...or they are simply jealous!
Charles S  [May 23, 2012 at 09:08 AM]
Superbly superb museum piece. One of the best of the BOT. Still cannot understand how a rating of only 4.7 is at all possible for such a splendid specimen...
Mark Z  [Jun 29, 2012 at 02:40 AM]
Hats off to the engraver who did the work! 5/5!
nogoodnicksleft  [Nov 16, 2012 at 05:49 PM]
