Anonymous 12th Century Class I; attributed to Béla II (1131-1141) Lengyel and tentatively attributed to him by Unger, Frynas and Adamovszky, but this attribution is not accepted by Huszár, Toth-Kiss and Gyöngyössy.
AR denar (average: .23 g., 10.5-11.5 mm.), .25 g., 10.90 mm. max.
Obv: Central point with small crosses above and below, vertical columns to the left and right, horizontal lines outside the columns, crescents at ends of the columns and the lines, crosses in the fields formed by the columns and lines, points at top and bottom.
Rev: Two crosses, two crescents and four lines instead of an inscription, cross with four pellets.
Struck in Esztergom.
