Anonymous. 225-212 BC. AR Quadrigatus (6.72 g, 3h). Uncertain mint. Laureate head of Janus, wearing slight beard, slightly wavy truncation / ROMA incuse on raised tablet in exergue, Jupiter, holding thunderbolt in right hand and scepter in left, in fast quadriga driven right by Victory. Crawford 30/1; Hersh, Quadrigatus -; Sydenham 64b var. (no slight beard); cf. Kestner 108 var. (same); cf. BMCRR Romano-Campanian 93; RSC 23.
