An interesting legend error:
The ligate VN seems to be a correction of an error of the die cutter. I think he has forgotten to cut the last V of OVLPIANOV and has then changed the N of NIKOPOLI so that it could be read as V and N simultaneously. I have another type with the same ligature of Novius Rufus for Elagabal, HrHJ (2018) 8.26.47.1
