Vespasian RIC II 0937
Vespasian 69-79 A.D. AR Denarius. Rome Mint. 77-78A.D. (3.12g, 18.8mm, 6h). Obv: IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, laureate head right. Rev: [COS] VIII, Mars standing left with spear and trophy. RIC II 937.

Mars, is of course, the Roman god of War. War brought Vespasian to the throne. Despite some difficulties during while on the throne, war wasn't a large part of Vespasian's reign.
