Bronze tetras, SNG ANS Sicily III 376-380; SGCV I 1184, Lindgren II 549, weight 3.4 g, max. diameter 16.96 mm, Syracuse mint c. 440 - 425 B.C., Obv. ΣYPA, head of Arethusa right, wearing hair in korymbos, necklace and earring, 2 dolphins around; Rev. octopus (cuttlefish) and 3 pellets in round incuse. Brown patina with some light pitting and encrustation.
