Very cool, I would be happy with this Titus despite the wear, I want a neptune reverse pretty bad.

Thanks. I think I went little to bright on the rev. with the lighting.

I like it! Nice portrait even with the wear, I see it was struck while Titus was Caesar too, very cool. I still need a Titus and a Domitian AR Denarius for my collection, but they aren't too high on my list.

I am also after a coin with a Neptune reverse, specifically the Denarius of Septimius Severus with Neptune standing on the reverse with the trident.... I always loved that type and had chances to buy one in the past but didnt take them, and regretted it ever since.... So I am keeping my eyes out for a nice, high grade Sept Severus AR Denarius of Neptune. Even before collecting Roman coins, I had a fondness for the God Neptune, ever since learning about all the Greek then Roman Gods in 8th grade, heh. I had a deep interest in Ancient History ever since then.... I had a great 8th grade History teacher who really got me into it, and explained things very well and interestingly for an 8th grade mind. So even though it was years after that... many years, untill I bought my first Roman coin, that teacher is what sparked my interest, and If I had known the prices that some of the later Roman Bronzes et cetera went for, I would have probably been collecting Ancients long before when I started.

I know what you mean, I'd like to have started on ancient s long before I did. Its great to have teachers like that. I have had a few like that. If a see a Severus/Neptune I'll let you know Smile

Titus' are so rare and usually so worn. I got only one and it's not as nice as this one. Any one of them deserves a 5 stars vote. Congrats. Wink
