Billion trachy Manuel -Ducas SB 2177 Type A trimmed
Obverse; Bust of St. Demetrius, beardless and nimbate, wearing tunic, breastplate, and sagion; holds in r. hand spear, and in l., hilt of sword or cross.
Reverse: Full length figure of ruler(Manuel) crowned by Christ, bearded and nimbate. Emperor wears stemma, divitision, and paneled chlamys; holds in r. hand scepter crucifier and in l., anexikakia. Christ wears tunic and kolobion holds Gospels in l. hand.
