Obv: AVT K M AVP CE [...];  Laureate and cuirassed bust left with spear pointing forward and shield before; c/m: Δ.
Rev: Female figure (Demeter or Hera) standing left; altar to left; c/m: NIKO.
28 mm, 9.73 gms

C/m's: Howgego 553 and 782.  The undertype is a roman provincial coin of Caracalla, probably from Pautalia. The coin has been countermarked by Nicopolis as a piece with a value of 4 Assaria.
